Question: Is it possible to use a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis Chassis for a "frame off conversion"

I have a recently wrecked 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis Chassis with 60,000 miles that runs and performs very well. I also have a 67 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible that has a great Florida body and is a wreck mechanically - the drive train, engine and axles, brakes, all mechanical parts are junk. Can I pull the body off the grand marquis and also the 67 ford and swap chassis successfully. Need to know asap to decide if I want to pay the salvage value for the 2000 Mercury grand marquis. Need Wheelbase, track and compatiblility advice.
